A book-lover since birth and a teacher by training, I am eager to expand my own potentials while helping others uncover theirs.  Functioning as an independent tutor who specializes in home visits allows me to offer my literary expertise when and where students need it most.  Collaborating with business professionals to address their writing and editing needs permits me to add value to their organizations and — by association — their customers and clients.

When I am not assisting teenagers with essays or partnering with business owners to scrutinize web content, I am running along the Polly Ann Trail, cycling at Stony Creek Metropark, and making plans to summit my next 14,000-foot Colorado peak.  My athletic interests are complemented by a fierce desire to learn and reflect, a passion that I fuel by reading non-fiction bestsellers, attending author lectures, and partaking in the visual and performing arts.  I am a staunch supporter of libraries and schools, and I believe that individuals can experience education, inspiration, and solace in both environments.

We are all capable of more than we imagine.
